Profile

Luca Silver is a filmmaker. He wants to be a writer, director, actor, editor, producer, photographer, fashion designer, graphic designer, illustrator, painter, student, teacher, world-traveler, and lover - but so far, he’s 19.

Contact

When Luca was born, Star Wars played on the TV in the hospital room. This foreshadowed a lifelong pursuit of cinema, beginning at age 9 when he bought himself his first camera. He excelled through elementary, middle, and high school, but had a hard time focusing due to ADD, drawing on his papers constantly and dreaming of directing musicals. He changed his name to Luca Silver because he thought it would look better onscreen. Luca is looking for work - any sort of film work - and meanwhile trying to be a better person. He wants to be patient, compassionate, present, and open. He likes art theory, interesting people, leftist politics, and writing in the third person.

While this website should make me look sleek and professional, the shocking truth is I'm still just a broke college student. Due to the pandemic, my life has been totally upended - emotionally, structurally, and financially. If you love any of the art on this website, consider donating to my immediate survival. Thank you and I love you <3
